Zero-friction onboarding
Players learn through doing, not reading. Tutorials are embedded in the first 30 seconds. No intro screens. No mandatory text walls.
Web-first game studio
Causal Games creates physics-driven, family-friendly browser games with tight loops and instant onboarding — pure enjoyment with no installs, no pay walls.
About the studio
Founded in 2026, Causal Games takes its name from causal — relating to direct cause and effect. Every game we make is built around a satisfying loop: action in, instant reaction out. No bloat, no confusion, just clear mechanics and the pull of “one more round.”
We build exclusively for the web browser. Our games must load fast, play beautifully on mobile, and never ask for money. Performance, accessibility, and polish are built in from day one.
Design philosophy
Players learn through doing, not reading. Tutorials are embedded in the first 30 seconds. No intro screens. No mandatory text walls.
We design for average sessions over 3 minutes with a natural retry pull. Each game has a single clear fail state and an instant reboot.
Initial downloads stay lean. We target 60 FPS on mid-range mobile with no blocking external dependencies.
Family-safe themes only — no graphic violence, no gambling mechanics, no stereotypes. Games for the whole household.
We start with a mechanic we haven’t seen in a browser before, then refine it until the feel is right. No trend chasing.
Loop breaks are designed organically — respecting the player experience while keeping the game sustainable.

Players take turns placing magnetic stones inside a rope boundary. Place a stone that triggers a cluster — any stones snapping together by magnetic attraction — and those stones are yours to keep. First player to empty their hand wins.
The engine models real dipole-dipole interactions: positions, orientations, and chain reactions emerge from physics forces rather than scripted triggers. Every round plays differently.
